on thursday night sam and i had a nice birthday meal at home and indulged in some sirloin steak. here's sam blowin out his candles.
friday night was party time to celebrate sam! we had a great evening. it was lovely seeing our garden full of friends. tom manned the barbeque and sam put together five hours of great tunes that kept us rockin in to the night.
the last two photos are of us relaxing and cooling down! after the big clear-up. it's SO hot!

Just as well you were smaller, Sam, when you were a baby and I had to bath you in a basin just like that. Party looks great.
Great photo of you in the tub!! Wish I had one with all this hot weather.... Nellie's paddling pool thingy will have to do - not that I can get fully wet, but it helps! We're really sorry to have missed your bash... glad to hear you had such a fab time!
