Visiting the Brittons

We've had a couple of lovely days in St Alban's with the Brittons and they have just sent us pics. Seeing as our camera is broken, I thought I'd put up some of their photos.
You may remember previous blog posts of Zach with his pals Rebecca and Duke - these three have been friends since birth. Rebecca has since moved out of London to St Alban's.
Here we are visiting with Martha in utero.

Joined for lunch by Jon, Gill and Duke.
Rebecca's new baby brother arrived about a month after Martha. He is called Stanley. On our recent visit we took some family portraits.

We had a very civilised lunch while all the kiddies slept. And then Zach and Rebecca had a wonderful time chasing each other around and around in circles through the house and garden.

Election 2010

Here's Zach drawn into the unfolding of our new government yesterday!
It's been a crazy week here, but we now finally have one! I've been
glued to the news most of the time since the election on Thursday.
With no one really knowing what the outcome would be that has been
where we've been getting most of our intelligence from at work! I am
now working for Vince Cable who is Nick Clegg's number 2. I'm really
pleased and am already stuck into work again after a period of waiting
around. I'll be out with our new PM David Cameron and Deputy PM Nick
Clegg tomorrow.

Minack Theatre and Mousehole

Cornwall is a strange place in many ways; amazing and dramatic natural
beauty mixed in with quirky and quaint manmade places like Minack
Theatre and the harbour at Mousehole. We had such a lovely holiday and
blogging about it now is a nice reminder and tonic amidst the business
that makes holidays feel so distant!

Mousehole

We had a lovely evening out in Mousehole, a rediculously quaint
horbour village not far from where we were staying. We had a meal in a
Michelin recommended restaurant which was a real treat.
