2 months and 10 lbs

The little fella is such a delight. He smiles and chuckles most of the time, is stacking on the pounds (now a clean 10) and has started to sleep on his own in is moses basket.

Becca had a good 3-4 days of celebrations this year - well earned celebration :)


The Birthday - Tri brought a yummy homemade lemon and rosemary cake



The next day was B's party which was going to be a picnic on Wandsworth Common, but ended up being in the Hope pub due to some rain.

3rd day of the birthday celebrations - making the most of the birthday cake I (Sam) kept forgetting to bring to the other celebrations!

i got zach's passport photo done today for our trip to france in a couple of weeks. zach managed to look appropriately serious and have his eyes open, as per the guidelines - although apparently they are a little more lenient with their stupid stipulations when it comes to baby passports. i was hoping zach might flash one of these winning smiles at them ..

This is Zach's latest favourite thing, the changetable snail... I took this video after he'd been lying in front of it for about 20 minutes, merrily talking away to it!


We've been hit by gorgeous Spring weather here which is great for getting out of the house, and quickly too! No wrapping everyone up in layers! We went to Tooting Common yesterday and sat under a tree for a while, then to Balham for lunch and coffees with friends and then met up with Tri and some friends and gategrashed a BBQ they were having - all felt very summery and spontaneous!







All this fresh air makes for good sleep - we all slept like troopers last night


We're off for a picnic on the common today, another scrumptious day.

6 weeks

Zach is 6 weeks old today. the time has flown by. it is lovely to see him responding to us with big grins, looking around at the world and exploring his vocal chords!

farewell Gran

it has been very lovely having mum here for two weeks helping us out, keeping me(Becca) company (and fed and watered) whilst sam is at work, and hanging out with zachary. we miss her.
