Matt & Oliver come to visit

Last weekend Zach and I spent the day with Matt and Oliver. Anna and Eliza were having a girls day in town, Joseph was at Alton Towers and Sam on his CIM course all day.


After lunch at home , we drove in the horrible rain to the wonderful Horniman Museum in Dulwich. Here we listened to a fantastic story-teller in between the glass cases of old-school museum stuffed animals, gazed at the fish, jelly-fish and seahorses in the little aquarium and our favourite bit - the musical instrument room - packed with hundreds of amazing instruments spanning the centuries.

This table was like a giant mac computer - it had a lovely screen where you could touch an instrument and listen to it being played.

Home for tea..


and off to Tri's flat for bath & bed for Zach, Eliza & Vi. And dinner for the grown-ups! .. if that's what we are now!
