sam made an amazing feast for thanksgiving last night. topped off with a whole tub of ben and jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice-cream between the two of us...mmm we are thankful for ben and jerry's. and more importantly for a great first year and a half of marriage and a lovely home and amazing family and friends all over the world (that's you!) and our lovely fireplace.

also a plug for my sister .. triona is busy making pancake mix for fairs and selling well. her pancake mix makes the most delicious pancakes!! i think a bag of it is about £5 and you can order from her. so if you fancy some pancakes in the holiday season... topped with yoghurt, maple syrup and bacon, its a great way to start a lazy weekend...

i listened to death cab for cutie at a friend's place the other day, simply because they are on your blog, and i really like them! i think they all have houses really near us, too. maybe i can snoop! love your thanksgiving pics! see you in a week!!!!! WOW!! don't get to say that to sam and becca very often!!
PS Bens and I have ingested an entire tub of icecream together twice in the last few days ... so I was very happy to read that we are not alone in our guilty indulgence!!!!!! The one we just finished had these enormous chunks of hard chocolate fudge all through it. Heavenly! It was Tillamook Mudslide. Ben and Jerry's cookie dough reminds me of my backpacking year - a lazy saturday at mim's in cambridge where we awoke mid-morning, watched 'spinal tap' and ate b&j's cookie dough icecream!! what a way to start the day!
