Deen City Farm

We've just had a lovely long / bank holiday weekend, with gorgeous sunny weather, a backyard and a new bike seat for Zach.

On Saturday we went on our second family bike ride (more on our first to come) to Deen City Farm. We rode along the Wandle River Trail, a ride we took almost 2 years ago (see here). It was a beautiful ride.

Deen City Farm was great. It had peacocks, horses, cows, sheep, pigs (swine-flu free hopefully), goats, lamas, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets. Zach loved patting the rabbits and sheep. He was particulary keen to get to the cows but they were busy ignoring Zach and eating grass.

The whole thing wore Zach out, so what better than a sleep on the way home!

Oh how I wish we could go along the Wandle to the farm with you. It looks like my idea of a perfect family outing. Thanks for putting up so many pics. I love seeing little Z peering over the fences. Classic. Farmer Zach.
One of Rudy's fave songs that he likes to sing "all by a self" right now is "Old a Donald" AKA: "Old MacDonald had a farm"! Love, Jo xxx
