i love weekends because i get to spend so much time with sam, in between my weeks of being at home alone during the day, resting and recuperating. four more days until i return to work. my kidney hurts but i can't complain about having days to read and rest and do Su Doku's and not much else.

yesterday was a rainy afternoon. sam gave up on the cricket and we went to see 'You, Me and Everyone We Know' at the Ritzy cinema down the road. it is stunning - beautiful filming and portrayal of desperate characters, played by a gorgeous and unfaltering cast of unknowns. it is also deeply disturbing and sad. i'd highly recommend this wonderfully beautiful, moving and very draining experience. and the Ritzy bar/cafe is great!
