Quick, get to the beach!..
More rain and wind!...
After two nights of rain, hurricane (so we're told!) winds and little sleep for Sam & I (Zach slept soundly), we abandoned camping and had an epic day in the car in search of somewhere warm and dry to stay.

Funnily enough (??!!) we were camping this last weekend with a bunch of friends, and after two nights of torrential downpour, we all abandoned camp and sought a restaurant in which to dry out and get warm ... oh, and eat! It's fun that we were all in the same boat, and reminiscent of camping with you Sam in Wales in 2003! I'm pondering the fact that I didn't mention being rained out on my blog... it's a bit like the happy picture taken just moments before we all accidentally rolled in dog poo (the one you liked Becca!)

We were camping in Morthoe and moved on to a lodge in Croyde. lovely area with beautiful beaches. Zach is in heaven on the beach! Swimming was cold but delicious!
